The Original R.A.C. Twister Kit

The original Twister Kit
This kit is a direct bolt on kit for a Defender but will also fit a Discovery 1 with some minor modifactions to the inner wheel arches to allow room for the shock mounts.
 
A full kit consists of:
X2 Upper turret mounts
X2 Lower banana brackets
X4 Axle Mounted Dislocation cones
X4 Rectangle spring clamps
X2 Rear shocker mount
X8 Shock mount U Bracket
X2 Circular Spring Clamp
Plus, all nuts bolts & washers needed to fit the kit.
 
A Rear kit Consists of:
X2 Rear Upper shock mount
X4 U bracket shock mounts
X2 Axle Mounted Dislocation cones
X2 Circular spring clamps
X2 Rectangle Spring Clamps
Plus, all nuts bolts & washers needed to fit the kit.
 
A Front kit consists of:
X2 Front upper turret mounts
X2 Lower banana brackets
x4 U bracket Shock Mounts
X2 Axle Mounted Dislocation cones
X2 Rectangle spring clamps
Plus, all nuts bolts & washers needed to fit the kit.
 
The twister kit is designed with numerous holes, for this reason you can use the kit from a 2” lift to a 5” lift and move the shocker around to suit your needs to save you smashing the shock i.e. bottoming it out. Also getting the length of travel you require.
The kit was also designed too accommodate eye to eye shocks.
 
All our kits are now Galvanised - this can be direct bolt on or you can coat over the top
 
Please be aware maybe are some imperfections, i.e. excessive galv and in some instances where there was too much excessive galv, they have been flattened off before reaching mild steel and cold galv spray has been applied.
